We Are Rally is a leading advocacy and communications agency known for tackling some of the nation's most complex political and social challenges. When a New England state legislature introduced a bill that would severely restrict what educators could teach in the classroom, Rally needed a creative + production partner to humanize the opposition. They brought us in to execute "We Believe" - a rapid-response campaign designed to shift public sentiment before an upcoming vote. The goal was not just to make noise, but to show the real faces - and the real consequences - behind the legislation.

The stakes were legislative, but the challenge was logistical and emotional. With the election cycle heating up and the vote imminent, the timeline was critically tight. Rally tasked us with finding three educators in the specific New England region who were not only affected by the potential censorship but were brave enough to go on camera and speak against it. We were looking for needles in a haystack: ordinary citizens willing to take a public stand on a volatile political issue, and we needed to find them, film them, and edit their stories in a matter of days.

We immediately deployed a casting dragnet, screening dozens of potential subjects to find authentic, unscripted voices. While the original brief called for three teachers, our discovery process uncovered a more powerful narrative trio: two veteran educators and one courageous student whose education was directly at risk. We flew a lean production crew to New England, creating a comfortable, safe environment for these subjects to share their stories. Instead of polished political talking points, we captured raw, emotional testimonials about the importance of "unadulterated teaching" - the freedom to teach history and facts without government interference. We didn't just deliver a mini-doc. We sliced the content into high-impact social cutdowns designed to stop the scroll, specifically engineered for the platforms where the voter debate was happening.
